Editorial: 'Why are my comments not showing up?'

Lynda Duffy

When you visit us online at nhonews.com, appearing at the end of each article, there is an opportunity to leave comments. We encourage your comments, and post them as soon as we can. We are excited about the growing number of comments our articles are receiving online lately.

However, if you have submitted comments, and they are not being posted, there is a reason - your comment was inappropriate. What constitutes an inappropriate comment? Comments containing slanderous statements about a particular individual, profanity of any type, name-calling and attacks against our staff or other commenters will not be tolerated.

While the Internet is full of knowledge and entertainment, it has created a lot of cowards. The Internet makes it easier to say things that we would never say to someone's face. If you wouldn't say it in person, you shouldn't be typing it, either.

Please keep the comments coming, even when you disagree with something you have read. All appropriate comments will be posted soon. Thank you for interacting with us online.
