Jace Hardy, a senior at Winslow High School, recently won the 170 pound state wrestling title at the 2014 Division III Arizona State Wrestling Tournament. Hardy's name was added to the Wall of Champions at Winslow High School. Hardy is now the 50th state champion in the school's history. Winslow has a long history of wrestling champions that began in 1963. Hardy's championship win snaps a seven-year drought since Enrique Vigil's title in 2007. Hardy plans to go to a community college and take EMT training at the same time. Hardy has 11 siblings and enjoys hunting and fishing. He has been a varsity football player for three years and a Bulldog wrestler for four years. His wrestling coaches are Scott Larsen and Tom Breeze. Hardy also participates in Future Farmers of America and the Two Step Cub (line dancing). Photo/Donny Nelson
