Doran Thomas Youvella

Funeral services for Doran Thomas Youvella, 25, were held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Polacca.

President Eldon Povatah officiated the services with interment following at a family plot at Sand Hills Ranch.

Doran was born July 24, 1982 in Keams Canyon. He passed away Jan. 28, 2008 in Phoenix. He attended Keams Canyon Boarding School, went to Hopi Jr/Sr High and attended Mesa Community College.

He is survived by his sons Jalen Thomas Youvella, D'Andre Lomakuyva Youvella and Isaiah Dayton Youvella; parents Iris Donna Youvella and Wallace Youvella Sr.; brothers Nolan Youvella and Wallace Youvella Jr.; and sister Charlene Youvella Clark.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fannie Nampeyo Polacca, Vinton Polacca, Susie Youvella, Charles K. Youvella and Winnifred Mae Youvella.

Arrangements were handled by Greer's Mortuary of Winslow.
