ST. MICHAELS, Ariz. - Navajo human rights officials delivered donated non-perishable canned food to the Grants Community Outreach Center on Jan. 18 to help stock the community kitchen to feed the needy and homeless.

Navajo United Way of Window Rock, Ariz., and Navajo Technical College of Crownpoint, N.M., joined in the collaborative effort for the food drive. NNHRC extends gratitude to Navajo United Way and Navajo Technical College and those who made donations.

"We would like to extend are sincerest gratitude to those who donated canned food to help support those individuals who use the Grants' Community Outreach Center," said Leonard Gorman for the Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission. "Hopefully, this endeavor will continue with Navajo United Way and Navajo Technical College each winter season."
